North Munster Team League Rules and Guidelines 

General
  1. All players must be an affiliated member of a North Munster Club.
  2. The players do not have to be members of the same Club or from the same County.
  3. Entries will be accepted for teams of 4, 5 or 6.
  4. All players must be Area Master Grade or above.
  5. Entries are limited to 10 teams
  6. The competition will be played on the 2nd Thursday of every month running from October, 2015 to May 2016.
  7. The proposed venue will be the Limerick Bridge Centre as it is the most central place in the region.
  8. The entry fee will be €10 per player.   There will be additional nominal cost of €3 each night for centre fees.
  9. €10 entry fee will be used for the prize money.  The team finishing in 1st place will receive 75% of the prize money and the team finishing 2nd will receive 25% of the prize money.
  10. If there is an entry of <6 teams, 100% of the prize money will go to 1st place.
Rules
  1. The teams will play 24 board matches against each other and will be scored in IMPs.
  2. For each win a team will get points as follows according to the IMP Scale of 20.
  3. If a team failed to play a round, they can offer to play the match on an alternative night within two weeks.  This is subject to the agreement with the other team.
  4. If a team fails to play a match the other team will be awarded, the average of their points over the whole competition, but not less than 12 Victory points.
  5. T & P committee will be elected prior to the start of each night, to handle any decisions that may arise.  Three players will suffice on the T & P Committee.
Substitutes
  1. Substitutes are permitted on teams of 4 or 5 players.  
  2. No team can exceed 6 players throughout the competition.
  3. No substitute can play on more than one team.
  4. Teams do not have to declare their substitutes and but if a substitute plays more than 3 rounds they will now be deemed part of the initial team and must pay the entry fee of €10.
These Rules and Guidelines are subject to change up to and including the event start date.  These changes are at the discretion of the event organisers and you will be informed of any changes prior to the event start.
